Adding another socially conscious, super cute, small biz to our “go-to” list – Freed Outfitters!

We literally met on Instagram, did NOT know that was a real thing. So, thanks Inst.

We have obsessively daydreamed about their story since we read it-two best friends, who married brothers, and now run a creative little business in which 10 percent of all the proceeds go to a home for orphans in India. We are consistently blown away at how many people are selflessly utilizing their humble enterprises as outlets to provide aid to those in need. Mad props.

AN ODE TO TRAVEL – THAILAND AND HAWAII (SAY WHAAA)

05/09/2016

I feel like “Travel” (insert yoga voice) is like someone that gets talked about in awed murmurs around the schoolyard- pedestaled, idealized, glorified. You can hope the rumors are true, but there’s only one way to find out… Experience “Travel” (again with the yoga voice) for yourself!

I’ll keep it brief because we’ve all heard about how traveling is so enlightening and challenging and transcendent and will make all your dreams come true and do your laundry and bring you chocolate ice cream at 11pm and…

PEOPLE & PRIDE (THOUGHTS ON LEARNING TO LOVE WELL)

Lauren has been wanting to cut her hair for some time, but on the real, it can be so intense. The sec you go for the chop, you see the sexiest mermaid hair perfectly done un-done on Pinterest and have instant regret… and vice versa.

So in the spirit of contentment and in-the-moment-ness, we did it!

A “WE ACTUALLY DID IT” DAY

04/11/2016

Not like any of you guys can relate to this…

But we have these ideas about our epic Saturdays during the week and then Friday cruises up and we just wanna CHILLLLLL and eat out and talk about everything we should be/could be/want to be doing.

ANYWAYYYY… we actually did some of those “THINGS WE ALWAYS WISHED WE DID & NEVER DO”. We feel slightly impressed with ourselves even though these are tiny baby things.

Undocumented: various observations of local foliage, wine, repotting plants and lots of lols, always lols.
